after purchase customer service I purchased a 2014 Honda Civic for my sister to have who lives in Alabama. I bought the car and paid cash March 19, 2014. They had not processed the paper work for her to receive the packet needed to get her tags until April 14th,2014. She had exactly 3 days left on her temporary tags which would expire April19th, a weekend ,when they got her the paperwork. We made an appointment @ 10:00am for diagnostic work related to O2 sensor (we've replaced at least 3, maybe 4 of them since buying the car in 2006 from Ed Voyles, and the last one had just failed after about a year). Scammers and liars! My Honda was already diagnosed by Scammers and liars! My Honda was already diagnosed by a highly reliable auto repair shop, but required a new ECM that only a Honda dealer can install. Ed Voyles charged me $110 for their initial diagnosis. I expected that, but then they decided they needed even more diagnosis time despite receiving the detailed information from my independent shop. I bought a used 2007 Honda Accord in 2011 from EdVoyles Honda, assuming that I had a great purchase because I have no knowledge of cars, but when I went back to the dealership, recently, to trade in and buy a new Honda Civic, the value given by the dealership was way lower than the market. I have been a loyal customer of Ed Voyles for over 8 years. I was in a predicament, where I could not get my car to the dealership, nor had access to a fax machine, because my car was having trouble. It is frustrating that in order to get any information about my vehicle (i.e. my last service at Ed Voyles; completed a few months ago) that I could not get any information over the phone. Larry Calbert seems to receive good reviews on this site, but my experience with him on 7/22/13 was not good for two primary reasons: (1) a poor response to my initial inquiry; and (2) a high price. Neither of these reasons may have been his fault specifically, but fault does lie somewhere within Ed Voyles, if not with Mr. Calbert. If I have to describe the sales team of this dealership in one word, I'll say LIAR. We went to this dealership because we were promised a certain price for a Honda Odyssey. I called twice to confirm the price before we went. Once we were there, we were told they would not honor the price.
