Needed 30k service and warranty repair, they are close to my office so I wanted to save some time. Made appt and dropped off. Car was done fast but I noticed my bill was high. They overcharged for the 30k service (Price is advertised on their web page for goodness sakes) and charged me hourly for the warranty repair. When I brought it to the cashiers attention she had me speak with Mr. Sweet. Ed Voyles has been auctioning a Honda Civic on Ebay lately which has body damage. I had already looked at the vehicle on their lot and recognized it. They have apparently purposely taken some of the pictures to make it hard to see some of the damage and worse do not show any pictures of the passenger side of the vehicle where there's damage on the front and rear fenders. I very strongly urge anyone in the lookout for a new vehicle to keep a safe distance from Ed Voyles Honda. I was in the market for a new 2008 Honda CR-V EX-L. I had received several quotes from area dealers. I called Ed Voyles Honda to get a quote and was given an excellent price. I was asked to give my credit card information so they can use it charge $500/- deposit to ensure I get the deal. I recently discovered through a CarFax report that the “New” car that I purchased from Ed Voyles Honda had been sold as “New” even though it was in a car accident prior to me purchasing it. The dealership did not disclose the accident to me during the purchase. I took the CarFax and Police report to the General Manager Pete Richards to discuss the situation. I was going to buy a Honda from them last Wednesday. The salesman told me the price was $31000.00 + tax or $495.00 + tax for a 36 month lease. When I went to sign on the dotted line they changed the price to $32300.00 + tax or $720.00 a month + tax without any notice. I was livid to say the least. Stay Away from this place!!! I have a 2000 Honda Acrod that had no issues. I took care of the car as my own child. All service was done by Honda. This past year I had to move because of work and this dealership is the close one to the house. After taking the car here for service the first time I found a flat tire at pick up. They said I had to pay to replace the tire. Next I took it for a 45,000 mile service. After this now when I fill up gas, the marker never gets to full. Mr Rodney the sales manager is not a man to be trusted... His word means absolutley "nothing." *******GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. ************ Dont assume that since he smiles with you his is looking out for you.
