The Charlon Family arrived in Ridgecrest in 1945. We started with a small repair shop in Ridgecrest, which eventually added an International Dealership. Over the years the Charlon’s have offered several different makes of new and used vehicles from several different locations. Beginning in 1981 the Charlon’s brought The Ford Motor Company brand to the Indian Wells Valley and High Desert and has proudly served the area for 39 years.

I want to give a big shout out of recognition to Matt in the service department. I was buying a Ford flex and contacted him regarding price ballpark on a certain issue if it should arise in the future. Given that this is my closest dealership, I wanted to know what could I do. I've had a great experience with the service and parts departments here so far and plan to come back. Matt and Kyle went out of their way to help me on a customer-pay repair and saved me money. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. I also saw the sales guys speaking kindly to a mentally ill man who came onto the floor trying (poorly) to get a car from them without paying - class acts all around.
Always a great experience to go to Ford for my service needs. Normally, I would go to an outside entity to change oil or other maintenance on my vehicle. I have found that Ford provides the same service with the same price as I would otherwise.
My grandfather had a K&N filter installed on his car here, after oil change service, he no longer has said reusable filter.
I needed a very specific commercial truck. I needed it asap and didn’t have time to order one. I searched all over the us with no luck until I talked to the people at Jim Charlon Ford.
